Bubba's Light was named after TJ (aka Bubba)! Bubba was born with low vision and is considered blind. What he sees really varies depending upon his environment (e.g., good lighting, good contrast, familiarity, etc.). No matter the situation though--Bubba has always loved light! Whether it be a flashlight, a nearby lamp, a light up toy or the sun in the sky. Bubba's lifelong love of light inspired us to name our non-profit after him in hopes of shining light on others who have or care for those with rare diseases, including rare cancers.
